You TECHNICALLY have 24 hours to make a selection but this year we want to finish the draft as soon as possible so please do your homework and act accordingly.
You can only draft players that were actually selected in the real NBA draft and NOT potential prospects that were not in the 60 official selections. If you miss the deadline, you will switch places with the GM behind you (i.e. move from #5 to #6). If you miss it again, you will receive the highest drafted remaining player on the board. You can plan ahead and message or email the administrators your list of rookies you want to select once you know where you select and you cannot make it by the deadline.
- Post each player you select in the rookie draft board once your team is on the clock.
- You inherit the rookies real NBA contracts (as per our 2019/2020 Rookie Scale List)
- You can only sign your rookies if you have the cap space to do so (i.e. You can go over the cap to sign your own rookies but no contract can take you more than $10M over cap)
- If the rookie contract takes you too far over cap, you can sign them and immediately place them in your D-League spot (if open)
- If you fail to sign your rookies, or if you cannot get under the cap in time, those players will become Unrestricted Free Agents.
Have fun drafting!!
