Denver Nuggets, Atlanta Hawks, and 2 more like this

Welcome back Hate City Ballers to another exciting fantasy season where your butt will be kicked so hard that you will be crying for help any minute now and will start making trades before it’s even allowed, pls drop the fines committee!!
Season 1 is on the books and we got a couple new members in the group, I hope all of you have realized that as the years go by the money gets tighter and all of you (yes you Indiana) will have to make some financial sacrifices pretty soon since your team doesn’t look to be a prototype of a fiscal responsibility.
Here is what projections see this year, again, projections, cause at the end of the it’s someone like Alex Caruso that will determine who wins this league!
LA Clippers
A pretty balanced squad likely punting blocks and rebounds, yes Tyus Jones was overpaid but Sato, Bacon and Prince all come at a bargain of a price; unfortunately this team is destined to go as far as the fragile Kevin Love goes.
Denver Nuggets
Denver has been talking a lot this summer and the pressure is on as it’s time to prove us whether his team is serious about contending or not. Too much hype on this roster but other than the albatross deal of the Joker most of the contracts are reasonable so there is plenty of room for wheeling and dealing if the signing of last year’s MVP’s, Caruso & Connaughton (not a law firm!), doesn’t pan out as advertised.
New Orleans Pelicans
Our Pelicans was David Griffin before David Griffin stacking all the picks in the world in order to rebuild his squad. Clearly one of the favorites of the league with AD locked and loaded but I can feel something is missing from this group, Jerome Robinson maybe?
Miami Heat
Miami coming into the season with a smile in his face after a brutal playoffs elimination last year. The value picks are there with Matthews and Franky D(!) but a slow start for Otto, Jonas, Portis, the Chief and Favors have this manager panicking so be aware of trade offers coming your way soon!
Los Angeles Lakers
Man, Lakers looks like such a head scratcher for another year. The trio of Ja, Lonzo and Coby White looks tremendous, especially in the long run, but then you have the potential MVP of the league and some other underachievers like Barton, JJ and THJ with Hassan on a short lease. Playoffs on paper but a rebuild also under the works? Is the Lakers front office potentially split maybe, the way Magic and Pelinka did last year? Like I said, weird shit going on here...
Atlanta Hawks
A thin but loaded roster and the fantasy gods deciding to punish Atlanta just like they gave him their blessing with the Zion pick. (Always explore the trade market Atlanta!!). This is the most inflated ranking of all teams, many short term question marks and I wouldn’t bet on Atlanta making the playoffs this year.
Minnesota Wolves
Bro, this is a nice squad overall and Murray looks healthy but if I were you I’d be having a hard time sleeping with the numbers KAT has been delivering this year so far. The WTFs seem to be a constant for Minnesota and this year we have, Josh Jackson, KCP, Marvin Williams, MKG and Kenneth Faried (?).
Milwaukee Bucks
Milwaukee is pretending to be the Alchemist, wheeling and dealing trying to improve the core of LeBron and Giannis. This team reached the finals last year so you better watch it! Thomas Bryant is prolly the biggest bargain contract in our league and PJ Washington looks like a steal so things look good other than a shitbag of Wiggins, Young and Stanley Johnson and it remains to be seen if Kuzma becomes the third wheel or the third “papari” in LA. Don’t blow it Milwaukee cause, you know it, Siakam is getting a max contract in Hate City as well this offseason!
Indiana Pacers
I said it many times over here, but our buddy doesn’t get the memo, NO, Indiana is not great 🤡. We all love SGA and Herro but the collection of bigs with Dwight, Marc Gasol, DJ and WCS is disgusting at best and Batum and RHJ add more insult to the mix. Indiana’s season is down to Rose playing like an MVP and Sabonis becoming a legit double-double machine so I guess there is hope right?
Brooklyn Nets
The injury of Marvin Bagley guarantees a slow start to the season while Rozier hasn’t looked like the best point guard in Charlotte but here comes...Frank Kaminsky to the rescue! A mixed bag of a roster guarantees the same results, playoffs maybe but not much else.
Houston Rockets
Kendrick Nunn looks like the real deal while Michael Porter seems to be buried in the rotation for another year. Houston is actually one of the few teams that is balancing rebuilding and contenting at the same time but KAT needs more help and Alex Len nor Darius Bagley will be the answer.
Philadelphia Sixers
Joel and Jrue have started the season injured and Ben Simmons remains in G League, what’s new with Phily right? Another season with many question marks but rest assured, there will be trades, a lot of trades, a lot a lot of trades!!
Portland Blazers
Projections put the team first in free throw shooting, should be enough to win the trophy again right? Also, can someone pls ask Portland what’s up with him and Clippers rookies?
San Antonio Spurs
RJ Barret looks good after all so it’s not like last year got wasted for nothing right? Kawhi and Drummond are about to have monster seasons but the rest of the talent looks to be missing but wait, Jaxson Hayes had a great summer, he will be awesome at the NBA level right off the bat right?? (Reminder to Spurs: NEVER buy the Summer League hype buddy!)
Utah Jazz
Presented without further comment, the worst collection of point guards a fantasy team can have:
Rajon Rondo
Reggie Jackson
IT
Quinn Cook
Jevon Carter
Boston Celtics
Currently in a firesale mode, this team will be assembled again next year, pls come inside and shop whatever coat you like, all offers under consideration and all kinds of picks accepted!
Phoenix Suns
Still a couple albatross contracts (hello Avery Bradley!) but I like the direction this team is taking with a lot of reasonable gambles that could transform this squad if they pan out. Oladipo should come back sooner than later but where is the C on this team?? #FreeKellyO
Sacramento Kings
A textbook rebuild from scratch, it’s just a shame this team can’t compete yet with Trae looking great and Ayton...oops! I gotta blame the committee though, we should allow Sacramento to sign some bums off the streets, should help the 2050 plan to materialize efficiently.
Chicago Bulls
The Kris Dunn fiasco has slowed down the rebuild process and PG starting the season on the sidelines doesn’t help. This team won’t lose in turnovers, making sure weekly matchups end 1-8 instead of 9-0!
Golden State Warriors
Who is the worst this year, our Warriors or the real Golden State Warriors?
