Unbelievable, after all these years this guy just loves John Henson and his fat ass. New York came in with the most cash available and just like Indiana, he decided to go all in in a bad free agency pool. I like DeRozan and Holiday as players, but paying them $20 mil each, when they are projected to finish outside the top 30 is insane. What’s crazier is that he also gave $17.5 mil on Aldridge, a player who is getting worse year after year. Even the Rudy Gay signing is an overspend, if we take into account his injury concerns and the Popovic effect with all the rests he is going to get as the season goes on. The flyers he took late in the free agency season are nice and hopefully some of them can give him production that he will desperately need once his players get on the floor and start underperforming. 🎶 New York New York you just won't go to sleep and wake up on the top of the hill anytime soon. 🎶
