Even though he had the cap to be a player, he made short term questionable decisions but laid the foundation for long term success. I don't think he even created a playoff team. Overpaid for a big who can only rebound (Thompson), a guy who is in the league because of his father (Rivers) and 2 backup PGs who are going to see less minutes now that everyone is healthy (Rose, Johnson). At least Tyler fits great with this young nucleus and might prove to be a big time steal in the near future. What a great strategy though as he only gave one year contracts to Rose, Nelson and Redick and he will be able to resign some of his RFAs next year.
