I vow to be a player when the FA period rolls around.
I love Capela, but after trading for Lamarcus Aldridge, I am concerned that I may not have enough funds to retain Mr. Capela when he hits RFA.
So, I decided to target a lower salaried player who still has some upside to attain. Chriss has shown small flashes of potential here and there. I am hoping a new coach like Igor will take the time to tap into Chriss athletic ability and maximize his potential.
Payton seemed like a low risk player to have heading into RFA. If people are scared off of all his bad press and seemingly poor play after being traded to the Suns, he may end up with a manageable contract.
