As we all are wannabe GM's You become Danny Ainge for a day. You were eliminated in east finals. You have Kyrie, Hayward, Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Rozier, Horford and Morris and some draft picks(for 2019 draft). What do you do? P.S. we all know Philli will change everybody...  |

- No one is trading for Hayward’s max contract.
- AD ain’t going anywhere after a tremendous year where New Orleans put the right pieces around him (Dell Demps Executive of the Year 👏🏼 mono PAOK)
- Celtics don’t have the money to offer any FA like Boogie the max.
- Smart will likely take the qualifying offer unless a team offers him more than $12-14m per year (hello Kings!!)
- Kawhi is definitely an option IF the Spurs have to trade him as they would probably send him East instead of West and they have the pieces to make an offer
So, unless Kawhi to Boston happens we are looking at a starting 5 of Kyrie, Brown, Hayward, Tatum amd Horford which is great in paper but A) no one knows if Kyrie’s knee will hold up and B) Hayward still hasn’t played a game with the Celtics and their core players
On top of everything don’t forget about karma, the secret sauce behind Boston’s injury plagued season. I’m 100% sure the basketball gods are still not happy with the assault and battery that Ainge commited to Brooklyn stealing all their picks the last 4years.

If i were ainge, I would try to get Drummond . If not, i would try to grab a backup C with playmaking ability like mason plumlee, kyle o quinn, Randolph, WCS
I would try to sell high on Rozier and Brown.

I d give Kyrie and Horford to San Antonio for Kawhi and Dejounte Murray (and I d tried take also Kyle Anderson).
Then I d give Hayward and some else (or a draft pick) to NO for AD.
And then the championship will come by its own to Boston next day…

If not, i would try to grab a backup C with playmaking ability like mason plumlee, kyle o quinn, Randolph, WCS I would try to sell high on Rozier and Brown. I was sure you would find some other trade and I tottaly agree about the 2nd part. I think he wil do it too (trade Rozier and Brown) |

Are you sure that AD will sign if Rondo and Cousins will leave? If not what about sending Hayward and Brown or Rozier in Orleans and include another team to give in Orleans a center giving to the third team Horford and Brown or Rozier. You have also the picks if they want more. It's sure crazy but I think if AD is available you go for him. |

First thing I would do is making Kyrie untouchable. He is definitely the best star fit for this kind of a team.
I'd offer a package of picks&Rozier&Jaylen/Tatum for Kawhi or AD. (I'd try Hayward or Horford first, but I don't think they'll agree)
If I can't do this, I'd just trade for a cheap back-up center who can shoot, pay Marcus Smart and that's it.
